hope this helps someone out =] |
what i wanted... was for someone to try these out...maybe it made very good results and somehow someway i've put the miata community a few steps forward for moar powerrrr

I don't see what's special about them, or why they'd be any better than a homebrew system using Toyota COPs. Looks to me like somebody just snagged a bunch of OEM coilpacks, slapped a pretty label on the top of them, and marked them up a couple hundred percent.
This is the same company that sells $400 grounding kits and $500 magic spark plug boots: http://www.okadaprojects.com/usa/products.htm BTW, when I visited the webpage of one of their vendors, it pushed the Win32/Statik Trojan onto my machine. Not the mark of a reputable company. |
o wow... i dunno joe, it never did that to my machine lol... but yeah, i've heard people getting good results, don't know why or how since i haven't dug deep into it, i will when i get the chance, but i heard it works very well

Oh, absolutely. If you were to upgrade a boosted '99 Miata with stock coils to that COP system, I'm sure you'd see excellent results. And if you were to upgrade that same Miata to a Toyota-based COP system, I expect you'd see equally excellent results, but at 1/5 the price.
The rest of their stuff looks like pure snake oil to me. |
