Default De-Boosted

I took the turbo off my car and sold all its components with only the ecu still left to go and a couple of other various items. I'm returning everything back to n.a. I'm currently one part away from having it run again (mass air flow meter).

The motor has been completely rebuilt with forged h beam rods and lower compression pistons of 9.0:1. The ecu is back to the factory. There is head work done to the motor.

My main concern is will my motor run properly with the 9.0:1 pistons with the factory being 9.5:1

I was also thinking about going nitrous in the future; since the motor is built to handle some power, i figured it might be fun.

any inputs are appreciated thanks!

Keep the adaptronic? Better yet sell it for it's higher value and buy the lower value MS that does the same thing. And can control nitrous.

So, you went from boosted to a low-compression stocker . . .

The stock ECU should run the 9:1 motor just fine.

JB weld a couple of quarters to the pistons to get back up to 9.5:1...or even higher.

Or just run lots of NOS!!!
Two big ones.
It will make sure you don't top out at 145.
Hit up Harry he will hook you up.
But don't blow yourself up cause I've seen you drive and you got a heavy foot.
