Ebay Oil Cooler...anyone tried this one?

I realize I'll probably get flamed like the brats I had for dinner last night but... I have a 1992 1.6 Turbo and am of course fighting oil temps with any amount of boost. Just cruising around the car does fine, I have a Mishimoto Radiator, Mishimoto intercooler, BEGI coolant reroute, BEGI Exhaust Manifold, GT2871 Turbo with BEGI oil and coolant lines, FM downpipe, FM midpipe vban'd into 3" SS all the way back. If I get on it it goes to 12psi immediately and runs like a champ but oil temp climbs to 220 degrees and takes quite awhile to come back down, so obviously I need an oil cooler. My coolant temp never goes over 190. Oil temps are my concern now before I go autocross this beast.

In researching and looking, a 300-500 dollar unit with a thermostat, oil relocation and cooler is the best solution. In my searches I came across this one on fleabay and wondered if anyone on here has tried it yet? If you have what is your experience and how would you rate it?

what makes you think 220 oil temp is too hot?

Sounds pretty damn good to me. 300 is hot.

in my research (I am generalizing here), engine oil needs to be at least 220 degrees F to burn off all the deposits and accumulated water vapor. The traditional approach is to try to hold oil temperatures between 230 and 260 degrees. If I am barely getting into boost and am already seeing temps at 220 logic tells me that prolonged use will result in even higher temperatures. I do plan on tracking this car and run it in local autocross events, so trying to work out any potential issues prior to catastrophic failure at the track. Is my thinking flawed? I am ok with that if it is :)

I will not ever use any sandwich plate for the oil lines that is not a Mocal one. After loosing 2 motors due to oiling issues with a cheap one it is just not a place to try to save money.
