Default Is this engine any good?

Hello, this engine i was given has very POINTY pistons, and ive heard these are very bad. The ports also look very bad. Pretty sure those ridges aren't supposed to be there. I was told these rods from CARID.com are also bad. I don't know very much about these Bee Pees. Thanks in advance.

You gon get mad detonation. I suggest taking a coarse file to the domes on those pistons and smoothing them out as much as possible. Also carrillo sounds chinese. I'd suggest swapping or a set of maxpeepeerods

Those are forged rods and pistons. Why you be trolling?
