The battle for the best head gasket
Ive looked around on the forum here but to no avail, i cant seem to find anything on this. At the moment I understand that it is possible to run a stock head gasket up to 84mm oversized pistons. I only point this out because I have .020" 83.5mm wiseco installed currently. Im going to be running a lot of boost (30-32 psi) and want to know what the best head gasket will be. I have found stock ones on ebay and from napa (dont know why oem can range from 16-80 bucks) and i hear all sorts of good things about cometic. Do i need to get a cometic? or can an oem one handle that much boost? Im just looking for the best one that fits the job and where can i get it. Any help will be much appreciated, and if i missed the thread with a good lineup of gaskets i apologize for asking again. Thanks.
