engine bore and head gasket question

The engine block was bored from 83mm (stock) to 84mm.

Can I still use the stock Head Gasket that is set to 83mm?

I placed the stock HG and seems to be flush with the block and cylinder walls.

IIRC the stock head gasket is > 83 mm.

FM claims that with careful alignment, the stock HG can be used on 84.5mm blocks. I've used the stock HG on an 84mm block successfully.
