Engine randomly hit 2 step while driving, now it runs rich?

How's it going Miata tuning guru's, had a weird problem today and not sure if I broke something serious or whats going on.

Basically I was in the middle of a spirited drive today and I turned on flat shift, used it, and left the switch on for the next gear. Problem is I was at around 5800 rpm, getting ready to shift (clutch was not in so it shouldn't be turning on) and flat shift triggered anyway while the car was driving and in gear. I immediately put the clutch down, and turned the switch off. Problem was I felt a loss of power, and while driving I noticed it was randomly showing flat shift triggering just enough for I'm guessing one crank because it bucked the car very lightly. I went in and disabled the flatshift/launch for the rest of my drive, and immediately went back home with my tail between my legs because wtf :bang:. On the way home the car was running way richer than before, idling at around 13.5:1 AFR instead of 14.7, cruising at 14.5 instead of 15.1, and pulling at like 10-11. I poked around in the engine bay, everything seems to still be connected, the engine sounds fine, but its still running weirdly rich, less rich than it did immediately after it triggered randomly, but still off by .4 or so than it was before my moronic incident. Also on cold starts it shudders down to like 9, then catches itself and warms up normally.

Engine Info: 95 1.8l, DIYPNP MS2, N/A with nothing special except a light flywheel (doubt that's relevant but eh, figured i should mention).

Let me know if there's any info I can pull from the MS that may give more useful data. I unfortunately wasn't running a log when it happened, but I'd be happy to go out and get one if that helps.
Tomorrow ill be poking through my launch control/flatshift wiring and seeing where the point of failure is there, but for now wanted to know if there's anything else I should stress about.
Feel free to call me a moron etc. just would appreciate some knowledge from someone with more experience. thanks
