Default radiator down sizing

Has anyone downsized to a civic sized radiator in order to make room for pipe\cooler routing for various items like intercooler or oil cooler, etc?

If you actually have a legitimate need for an oil cooler, your car will overheat with a Civic-sized radiator.

What's the point really? You can always do an over the radiator piping setup and you don't have to worry about the actual radiator at all. Or just go down and around like everyone else. I seriously considered this as well, but with more research into the different charge piping setups, it's really not necessary. Just stick to getting the biggest radiator that will fit/is necessary.

I am running 178 f cruising, got up to 185 f during dyno pulls. So good, so far. I also have a 12" puller fan with a begi re-route.
