exhaust and intake port spacing and diameter the same?
Is the exhaust and intake port spacing and diameter the same? I assume the spacing is. How about the port diameter?
I am thinking about doing something awesome with my crappy china tubular. Think sea creatures. |
...stainless intake manifold? O.o

OK but you'll need a fuel rail and injector bungs.

Not when he's running DirectExhaustInjection.
Add Hypers coolant re-route and Amaks superawesomecoating and you have yourself a 10000whp car |

I am thinking of creating a variable sized plenum attached to the stainless mouth. This way you have nice small plenum for vacuum driving and big plenum for the boost. The plenum would swell with more boost. |
omfg yes:laugh:
I don't forsee boost leaks resulting from this AT ALL:giggle: |
I've got parts that swell with more boost.
PM for before and after. |
I smell faelure

The best part about this is regardless of what you tell him, he's going to try it anyway.

So what would be an ideal compound of rubber to use?
It needs the following specs puncture resistant oil resistant heat resistant to 200* can swell 4x volume at 40psi (1x volume per 13psi) flexible neck to wrap around the |

99+ rail mounting holes are in the head and so is injector bungs.

you would think I'd remember how the injectors mount since I have to reinstall my stock ones every two years. durp.
but remember: swelling is lagging. just plumb the turbo into the collector. Good idea about putting the turbo in the collector. Even better idea! Why not flip the turbo around and put the turbine on the intake and the compressor on the exhaust. This way you could avoid the hotside plumbing issues! |
and make your exhaust lighter by making it all aluminum. brilliant
