Which FPR on VVT enigne swap

Just finishing off my VVT engine swap into my MK1 1.6. I'm using a MK2 1.8 fuel rail with in the UK is a return system with a FPR on the end. Can I use the MK2 1.8 FPR or do I need to fit my MK1 1.6 FPR to the rail instead, (in which case it would need to be inverted to get the fuel line/vacuum hose to fit). Basically is there a difference between the UK MK1 1.6 FPR and the MK2 1.8FPR as it would be a lot easier to use the MK2 1.8 due to the angle of its connectors.

Thanks

Chris

edit: Crazy EUDM return-style NBs. I'm not sure if the return-system NBs ran ~43psi like the NAs did, or whether they got a 60psi system like the USDM cars did. If you're using a standalone, either one will work, though.

If the UK engines are the same as the Jap ones we get here in Australia (probably) then the VVT engine is 4 bar unreferenced, non-VVT NB is 3 bar referenced.

Just had it confirmed the EU/JDM MK2 99-00 were 43psi return system and therefore the FPR is the same as the mk1 1.6. (Only the mk2.5 was 60psi and returnless in UK/EU). However I've already fitted the MK1 FPR unside down and re-attached the intake/throttle boby etc andfuel hoses. It does not look pretty but will be a PITA to remove it all again to swap over to the MK2 FPR which I may leave for another time as I'm running out of time to get the car back on the road before it's next trackkday.
