Which fuel rail for 01-04 engine in 90 NA

So I thought I had this figured out but on further research the 99-00 fuel rail is returnless so I guess it will not work on a 01-04 engine that needs to be return able.

What fuel rail will work?

The rail from any 1.8 should work, but you'll want to remove the regulator and run your stock one, which should have the return. It may have to be mounted upside down for the grommet/flange to match up.

I have a 00' in my 94, with the 00 rail, 94 injectors and 94 pressure regulator mounted in place of the 00. It is uside down and i have the fuel line doing a 180 before heading back under the intake manifold.

99-04 and 94-97 fuel rails have different mounting points

That makes sense, with the revised port angle and all.
So you want the rail from the donor motor and the pressure regulator from your chassis.

But they do not appear to bolt up?

if it is a return less system where do I put the fuel pressure reg from my 90? and how do I return fuel to the tank?

Two options, drill and tap a fitting, or buy a high flow rail that already has the fitting like the Mtuned unit.

That covers pretty much everything you need to know.

1.6 FPR, 99-00 fuel rail. The stock fuel damper unbolts, the FPR bolts into place.

B61P-13-280? Oh, that's just too easy. Thanks Sav!

Is the 01-05 a return system? I'm wondering if anyone knows off hand if the tank cover on the NB2 has the fitting for the fuel return? Would make it real easy to convert a 99/00 to a vac reference return system.
