So now that VS855s are unobtanium, what are some unobtanium, what are some good alternatives to a drop in upgraded Valve spring? I am looking at Pioneer RV 1182 Springs which are a supposed replacement to the VS855 spring, but I just want to make sure.

 

A friend ordered some VS855 from Summit at least a month ago, and his order was being pushed back every week. However he just got a dispatch notice.... Looks like they might be coming back into stock.

 

Yeah, I called summit and they said they couldnt get a hold of em, despite the site saying they could. Im gonna try JEGs today, but its hard to find em from what I can tell

 

That's super weird, i ordered some from summit a few weeks ago and they arrived next day...i guess i got lucky

Did they give you a tentative shipping date?

 

I'm pretty sure I got mine from either summit or rock auto.

 

I actually called JEGs and they said they couldnt get em, however, I called Summit again and they said they were expecting some in November, so I figured whatever, I just stuck my name on 16 of em. Sounds like theyre trickling back in since you guys are getting them so Im hopeful that sealed power is making them again.
