Haven't got mine running yet, but the motor is together with no clearance issues.
Wiseco K553M84 8.5-8.8 pistons, with Supertech valvetrain: +1 valves, springs, retainers, shim under bucket conversion.

My issue is I have a set budget and the normal Supertech valves fit in that budget, well everything puts me at the edge of it. I'm in the mindset (so the wife is on board as long as I don't go crazy) of doing this once. If I had my way I'd weld the block to the chassis. I'm really tired of not being able to drive this car. Wine and more wine

Maybe screw it. Just put in stock supertech sized valves, mild port, and Supertech valve springs setup. Should be a good DD funtime head while still being better than stock.

Bump for anymore info on if someone knows of a Supertech 9-1 piston will clear a +1mm valve in a VVT head. I'm waiting to hear back what the cost would be to clay it and find out. Wound up saving a few bucks and may have a few extra dollars to throw at this.

Why not clay it yourself? Assemble the head/block without a gasket for insurance with 1/2" of clay on top of one of the pistons and spin it by hand a couple times (assuming there's no binding).
