Default Headgasket

Hi

I am going to lift the head on my 1,8 so I figured i might as well change the headgasket, (It is not blown)
The plan for this season was not to build the engine (that will come later)
For this season I am going to run a TD04 setup on E85 and decent tune

My question is, is it a good idea to get a thicker headgasket to lower the compression?

It's a good idea to search the forums for the answers to your questions before asking them.

For instance, you could type "site:miataturbo.net thicker headgasket" into Google, and the first 6 results or so are threads which discuss this specific topic and include answers to this question.

Inches are like centimeters, only bigger. Thats why Americans have such large penises.

I would LOVE to see someone run a 1/4” thick head gasket. Just for the lulz.
