I have some questions
I have a 91 Miata with the 1.6 in it, i have been driving it around for about 2 years now and i am finally getting ready to drop some money into it for performance, i have shaved the heads and that helpped alot, but i am wondering if it is worth it to drop money into this engine or if i should go with a 1.8 and then stroke it to be a 2.0? i have some more questions but that is my big one.
sorry for not using proper punctuation im lazy |
Completely depends on you and what you want out of your car.
|
Oh yeah i forgot to add the fact that my goal is to achieve the max amount of power possible with an actual miata motor cuz i already have one i am working on putting a twin turbo diesel in
|
well your on miataTURBO.net, so 9/10 the response is going to be to turbo your 1.6 which there is many examples of on this forum. if you turbo the 1.6 you can easily exceed the power you'll get from stroking a 1.8 to a 2.0 and then some. and you'll save some money (initially). search for some 1.6 turbo builds. N/A ftl :fawk:
edit: or i guess you could get the 1.8, stroke it THEN turbo it for something like this http://globalnetspace.com/miata/ lol |

Don't be so fucking lazy. The amount of keystrokes needed to type "sorry for not using proper punctuation im lazy" would have easily covered proper punctuation. So really it isn't a lazy problem, more of a intelligence type thing. Don't be such a fucking 'tard.
What is your budget? Start talking stoker motors and you'd better have a pile of $$$. Once you figure out home much $$$ you have, ask yourself how much power do you want and what you will be doing with the car. Not the best first post I've seen, now redeem yourself! |
I this that super rare v block 1.6? Shaved the HEADS ;) Depends on your budget and what you want out of the car. More info needed to give any form of good response.

All you really need to do is JB weld some coins on top of your pistons. Then HOLDONFORTEHVTACPOWAZ.
