ID725 fitment

Has anyone had fitment issues with the ID725 injectors?

They are the 60-11 type without the bottom washer fitted.

They are significantly longer than the OE injector:

Even when using a shorter adapter, they are very tight in the rail (the 11mm bore version of the black adapter was tested, not the one pictured, but the height was the same):

Here is what is on the box:

My only issue with the ID725's fitting my 2000 was from losing two of the fuel rail spacers, and my hack/solution allowing too much tightening (fuel rail too close to the manifold) which pinch-cut one of the upper seals.

Once I got the proper fuel rail spacers everything worked like stock. Just make sure to lube up the seals, and don't over-tighten the rail bolts.

Out of interest are you using the older style squared adapters or the smooth looking ones like I was supplied?

I have the 1000s with rounded adapters and they fit fine, little awkward with the bulky harness adapters but that was about it.

Mine're the smoothies:

I forgot to update this earlier but in the end the overall length of the spacer didn't matter as the fuel rail had quite a bit of extra room in it. I was concerned the injectors would be hitting the top of the rail and hence not be isolated properly but this wasn't the case.
