Inconel Bolts?
Where can I find me some Inconel bolts? Standard or metric, it doesn't matter.
These will be for my new flanged manifold. |
you mean studs?
|
No, I mean bolts. ARTech recommended through- bolts with a nut.
|
If you cant find any you might want to look into some grade 10.9 bolts. They have similar yield strengths. I plan on running some fine thread m10 bolts and nuts in my setup.
|
What's the reasoning behind using through bolts over studs? Bolts will be harder to access because you will need a wrench on both sides. Also, there are both m10 and m8 metric studs readily available. If you have good reasons and still want the bolts, I think you're going to have to send a couple emails around to various fastener companies to find what's in stock.
|
Oh shit, we hadn't thought of 10.9 grade bolts. God we're morons.

Search, n00b.

The TSE or begi shit won't work for me. Too short with quick spool valve adding 3/4" thickness.
I don't really care about bolts or studs. Just need long inconel shits. |
Forgot you need extra long for the qsv. I think you'll have to custom order something like that. Or see what the ginormous turbo supra guys are doing when using the qsv.

I searched for a couple places that look worthy, theyll probably be expensive to get custom made though.
