I think the GSS250 will be more friendly to MY OEM fpr in stead of the HP one
The purpose is to get the fpr ticking noise completely gone!
Any other good brands 190lph low pressure than Walbro?
I've noticed the operating "zoom"noise.

I've read that other pumps are more quiet..

DW makes nice pumps, not sure if they have a lower flowing one but a lot of guys love the dw300 with e85. The whine the pump makes really isnt bad, i like the whine my 255 makes vs the old oem one, the 255 noise is more "steady" would be the best way to describe it, while my oem one made clunking noises and turned on/off more it seemed.

Hi,

after installing the Walbro 190hp fuel pump, the noise was identical. No improvement at all...

I changed the fuel pressure regulator with an other 1,6 oem one, and the ticking noise is still the same.

The two oem regulators I've tried are clicking loud and hard like they can't handle it.

My thoughts are that installing a bigger regulator will solve the noise. Or something like a fuel pressure riser with a bigger membrane inside of it? although I don't need the rising function, just the damping effect.

Any thoughts or advice would very be helpful

Thanks

I have the same ticking noise in my car. Although I'm using Evo x injectors with adapters. Curious to know what you find. My car sounds like a diesel

Of course the sound is still there, you haven't fixed your exhaust leak yet.

problem solved

I've installed a second fuel pressure regulator and the ticking noise is gone.

Seems that the OEM FPR can't handle nor the 250 nor the 190lph Walbro fuel pump.
The second fpr dampens the fuel pump pulsation and returns an amount of fuel directly to the return.

Do you have a pic of how you did it?
