Hi,
I know it s a crazy stupid question but i can t find an answer anywhere...i have 195500 4430 red injectors and i see that thete is a black part (seems plastic!) at the really end of the injector (injection point). I cant figure out if i need to remove it or keep ot in place. This part have a hole on it so i think it could not be a simple cap! I see 99% of the pictures of these injectors with these black parts on even when the seals are on too. I saw few pictures wich seems to be these injectors without this (first picture) but i tried to remove these gently and they seems not to move.
I dont want to destroy my injectors removing it nor burn the engine if they are not intended to be there. Please no jokes i ll take your advices really seriously!

It's called a Pintle Cap. They're necessary.

 

Correct. Some come with rubber some with plastic but both seat and center the injector and mandatory
