Innovate MTX-D Feedback

Hey guys I tried searching around but couldn't really find any reviews even on google about these MTX-D gauges. Seem relatively new...

I was planning on running MTX-L anyway for AFR so as part of my gauge shopping I came across the D's.

Been researching on gauges that'll fit my budget/setup. I like the pricing and packaging potential for my setup, but on the fence about how the dual modes are displayed.

For gauge setup I was considering to put AFR / Oil press&temp / Water temp & voltage as a 3 piece DIN and probably pop out the left eyeball vent and put a boost gauge in there. EGT will be logged only.

FYI, this is my first engine/turbo build FWIW.

I think I'll be ok with the digi output for oil pressure and water temp. Also believe I'll be able to live with the ring colour setup (can customize colour ranges) for oil temp and voltage.

I'm not so sold right now on digi output for boost. I think it's a no brainer to go with analog for that...

So I'd like to get some feedback from you guys on the following (mostly for useability when driving on track):

1) Anyone actually run these D gauges and how do you like them? Any drawbacks?

2) Has anyone heard any complaints about accuracy?

3) Digital output for oil pressure and water temp should be ok? Thoughts on the custom colour ring setup for oil temp and voltage?

4) Boost is easiest to keep an eye on w/analog?

Any help would be great. If this is pretty noob, I've come prepared with the flame suit so let me know...

I'm currently running the MTX-L for my AFR. No major issues with it. Only thing is the wires aren't long enough so you have to extend them yourself. Also, the wires have no connector making future removal a difficult proposition. Additionally, the serial hook up to the computer was kind of finicky for me. Overall best thing for the price.

Which wires aren't long enough?

Signal wires and ground. And power if you want it powered from the ecu.

Im pretty sure it would reach from under the radio to the footwell ECU on a 9093. but yeah, the main harness wires are signicantly shorter than the LC1, but all the other input wires they give you (serial, sensor) are much longer.

My mtx-l is right under the radio. Still wasn't long enough for me unfortunately. Run straight out, left under the glove box and down through the passenger kick panel.
