Default Intake Air Temp increase in boost?

Hey,

I am wondering what is an acceptable amount of Intake Air Temp increase when in boost. I did a data log the other day and noticed that during cruise my IAT was around 12 Celsius which was right around ambient, but when i got into boost it went up to 17 Celsius.

My set up is inter cooled and uses 2 inch aluminum pipe.

Thanks in advance.

it can go up as much as 100F, without being abnormal, depending on power level and IC efficiency

I see a 50 deg. F rise over a 0 to 100mph pull with a rather exotic v-mount setup using a bar and plate cheapo intercooler. Temp rise is really dependent on your setup.
