I've looked and looked...dead ends everywhere...square top intake mani

So...being new to the miata world, I kinda missed the train on the non USDM intake manifold. Problem is, I want one really bad lol

Does anyone know where I can buy one that isn't going to be $500? Like a japanese exporting company or something like that. Or maybe one of you guys has one you'd be willing to part with? :D

Either way, let me know!

Thanks

Shipping is around $200 with EMS and $260 with UPS...the manifols weights about 15lbs.

...I should've asked over here in the first place. I realize this is the better miata forum now lol

The one I sent to Andrew cost me €59.xx Fedex/UPS/DHL wanted waaay more than what you quoted. All boxed up I came to ~9 kilos.

Ye Plain Olde unregistered mail? I'm too uncorfortable sending ANYTHING that way.

It´s insured and needs a signature for delivery. Next option with tracking was at least double the money, which negates any advantages of me getting these things cheap.

spitefulcheerio 04-17-2011 05:14 PM

cheapest form of shipping works for me as long as it's insured!

I know from one at 30 miles from my home. I would need to ask the seller for the price again since he asked too much money the first time I talked to him.

It seems that oscar has my back but you can ask anyway!

Thank you

Still in the market for one of these!

Oscar 04-26-2011 03:49 PM

Line up I'd say. I wish these were a dime a dozen over here, but unfortunately, they are not. More 01 owners here need to totall their car :giggle:

spitefulcheerio 04-26-2011 03:53 PM

Seriously though! I wish I could go to the UK and dig around some junk yards

Twibs415 04-27-2011 06:12 PM

id be happy with a regular 99-00 manifold with all the trimmings seeing as i dont have a manifold at all for this head im building

They're not exactly plentiful over here either you know...

spitefulcheerio 04-27-2011 08:11 PM

They would be plentiful over here if the US cars actually came with them! I see hundreds and thousands of miatas in junk yards!!!

Twibs415 04-27-2011 08:18 PM

yeah but how many junked nbs do you see?

spitefulcheerio 04-27-2011 08:57 PM

At my local junk yard, there's at least 10! And I'm in a relatively small city. I've been to junk yards in the outskirts of Miami and they had whole sections full of miatas
