ok im in the middle of putting a haltech E6X in my festiva and im putting COP ignition in it at the same time cause i dont want to have big ugly spark plug wires anymore so i got a set of toyota coils and they dont fit that nice :( they sit at an angle and the plugs stick up way to high to clear the spark plug wire cover i made... so i searched around on google and it looks like honda k20 coils would fit MUCH better than the toyota ones... has anyone used them?

i dont need a harness, what i need is the coils and a little bit of wires that i can splice mine on to for my harness... do you have that?

 

I haven't investigated; however, I was going to use these pigtails from my old ep3 to fashion a harness. Good luck! Update this thread if you get any more information.

Has anyone used Honda Coils for a cops solution?

They have internal ignitors and appear to be the same size more or less but I don't have a set to confirm... would likely be easier for me to source the Honda coils locally.

 

I have sort of test fitted one and it seems to be longer than the Toyota COPS. I don't have a toyota one to compare to but in test fitting the K20 one it seems to be too long/tall

I suppose I could take a picture, or measure the one I have for the sake of science

 

What's the output of honda coils?
I just got in an argument with someone trying to tell me Toyota coils instead of LS2 Truck coils would be best for me.
