KMiata cast aluminum intake manifold

Thought I'd post this here for those who haven't seen it yet.

For the last 2.5 years we've been working behind the scenes to offer our own K series intake manifold that's specifically designed for RWD cars. We wanted to eliminate the Skunk2 two piece manifold and the adapters from our kit and provide the perfect solution for our swaps.

It's packed with every feature we wanted in a manifold, and is competitively priced at $499. It will also be the standard manifold supplied with our swap kits by September. Here's he copy/paste off the product page, followed by a bunch of photos:
  • Forward facing throttle body location specifically for RWD vehicles
  • Built from A356-T6 heat treated aluminum to provide extreme durability
  • Three liter plenum provides sufficient volume for both stock and built engines
  • Comparable top end power with increased mid range torque compared to the Skunk2 Ultra Street
  • 74mm inlet that accepts a B series throttle body and TPS
  • K series MAP sensor port provides simplified wiring and tuning
  • K series idle air control valve (IACV) port provides a factory idle at all temperatures, and is perfectly positioned to connect to an OEM engine harness without modification.
  • Improved fitment in a RWD engine bay on all sides: sufficient clearance for the stock K series belt tensioner and idler pulley, and a higher plenum height to provide easy access to bolts and wiring below
  • Available with or without the TSX (RBB) style water port to fit all K20 and K24 heads without any cutting, adapters, or extra fittings (RBB head flange pictured)
  • Built-in throttle cable bracket mount
  • Available with optional OEM gasket, all new hardware, and a ½” NPT to 90 degree ⅝” barbed fitting for RBB style heads.

Looks like a very well thought out product; only "feature" missing is a cast Mazda logo to confuse the masses :D

I guess this means its a good thing I'm waiting until after MATG to begin ordering my pile of parts. Awesome work David!

Except Mazda didn't make this, we did :)

We do love the OEM look of it though, that was definitely our goal.

Thanks! Yeah, your timing will be good.

The nice thing is that the S2 manifolds are popular in the Honda world. So any existing customer can easily upgrade to one of these, flip the old manifold back around, and sell it to a guy with a FWD Honda chassis.
