Default Knock sensor

Have a 92 1.6. I’m adding a knock sensor. There is a whole above the oil pressure sending unit perfect location but the housing on the oil pressure sending unit is too large to allow the knock sensor to be tightened to the block. Is there another sender option or do I grind to make it fit? What have yall done? Thanks.

So I had a similar problem when mounting my NA6 pressure sender to my k20, I wanted it to run the stock OP gauge in the cluster but the big NA6 sender fouled on the VTEC solenoid. I got a 45* BSP male-female coupler and installed it so the OP sending unit was angled away such that it cleared the solenoid. You could probably do something similar.
