A little help with a built motor PLEASE

hey guys looking to do an all motor build up here and I'm just starting on the bottom end tell me what a good set up would be or critique my shopping list here.
Shopping list:

http://www.flyinmiata.com/index.php?...0%20%201990-93

http://www.flyinmiata.com/index.php?...umber=04-66000

http://www.flyinmiata.com/index.php?...umber=04-66205

Now thats just the bottom end hoping to get to the top end in the next couple of months what do you think more I will need to run this set up?

Personal opinion:

1: You're looking to do an "all-motor" build (by which I assume you mean that you are striving for maximum usable power without using forced induction).

2: You have thus far listed $2,370 in shiny bits, and are probably looking at several thousand more, plus machinework.

3: You forgot the most important part: An '01-'05 longblock.

$2370 so far and you'll make probably 140 hp.

Yep if you check my signature I already have a greddy set up which i dont like. So i thought about going to what i know best NA/NA. Money is Money don't matter, what matters is what you have the most fun doing.

I'm still stuck on:

Seriously- are you planning to re-use the 1.6 block, or are you willing to step up to the big time? It's not just displacement; the BPZ3 head design and VVT will buy you some serious power potential that's just not available on the B6.

This should be the first thing on your build list:
FM 1.8 Swap Kit

+1, makes no sense to spend all that money building a B6 when it will be significantly cheaper, easier, simpler, more reliable, and have more potential when you just put in a newer motor. Use the rest of that build money to put a 6 speed in it.

What don't you like about your turbo rig?

Seriously... why not just change the bits you don't like about your current F/I setup. It will probably be much cheaper in the long run and net you much more power.

p.s. it's a pain in the dick to click a bunch of links to items we all know about. just list the items you are looking at and provide links if you so desire.

He's got an MS, and from the sound of it, probably won't be re-using enough of the stock harness to need to keep the 1.6 TB, coils, etc. I'd say that all he'd really needs is the throttle cable bracket and the mounts.

I just want to do it differently. I truely love my miata and if i leave it turbo's i wont drive it daily which is what I want I love going back roading, and cruising it to work with no top. I'm just simple.

I know what you mean. My miata used to be my only car and I drove it every day, rain, sun, or snow. I did that when it was turbo'd too, for 30k miles. Just haven't dailyed since I embarked on my "big boost" upgarde.

What's your perceived impediment to daily driving a turbo miata?
