Looking for ballpark starting ignition map for high comp (12.5:1) NA VVT engine
I know it's not turbo, but it is performance....
A friend who is not on here got a used high compression race engine from Planet Miata (I think). They ran it with 93 octane and a stock VVT ECU. He has it in a 91 chassis running rusefi, also 93 octane. No E85 available around here.
Does anybody here have a spark map that will get us into the ballpark before we send the car to the dyno?
