M-Tuned 99-05 FPR Kit

Good Evening,

Spent yesterday converting my 2000SE to a Fuel Return and FPR type system using the M-Tuned Fuel Pressure Regulator.
M-Tuned Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator -6 M-Tuned

For fuel lines we used the following which we sell under our sister company K-Tuned.com
-An Fuel and Coolant Fittings K Series Swap Parts - K-Tuned

I ended up running -6 line (Larger Bore, usually good till around 500hp) from the back of the car to the front and then used the stock feed line as a return.

I can tell you that this is the way the 99-05 Miata should have come! The car is sooo much easier to tune as I don't have 60-65psi of fuel under are situations. I have the FPR set for 48psi at idle, 58 at 0psi and then the FPR adds 1psi of fuel for every psi of boost. 7 psi of boost nets me 65psi of fuel.

We made duplicates of everything we produced on my car yesterday and will be selling this as a complete kit (Fuel Rail, Fuel Pressure Regulator, Fittings, Adapters, -6 Line etc) and we will also have a version for those of you who already own our rail. (FPR, Fittings, Adapters, Lines etc)

John took all the instruction manual pictures with his good camera, so here are a few little teaser pictures from my Blackberry. Please ingore the old FMII 4 Injector Manifold. I''ve got to take it off soon, but want to port my replacement manifold first.

Drove the car again today and finished fine tuning it. Car feels much better now and I can certainly get more out of this fuel system vs the stock system as I start to turn up the boost.

Time for the Walbro 255HP and my built bottom end....

Marc, let me know if you'd assemble a kit for me that will work with the FM fuel rail and AEM FPR. Essentially I'd like to change to -6 lines for some fueling overhead.

Hi Deerhunter..

I'd need to know what the threads are on the AEM FPR and FM Rail. You may have to tap your FM fuel rail return outlet as I don't think it is tapped like ours.

I'd probably recommend using the stock return and just running a new feed line.

Bringing this back from the dead,

Marc, I'm curious. I've been contemplating on converting my 99 into a returned fuel system. Did you use a contoured return fuel line from a 90-97 car?

I understand that I gotta pull the stupid FPR in the fuel tank out and just let it dump into the tank like that, then I have to use a 90-97 FPR on the fuel rail, or plumb a FPR like the M-tuned one from the fuel rail, to the return line, then back into the tank.

Perfect timing on bringing this back from the dead. Looking to do the same on my 99. Went to your website and didn't see a full kit. Do you have pricing on everything, minus the fuel rail (I already have yours)?

I wanted to do this as well

Couldn't the factory regulator in the tank be modified to provide higher pressure? Or is the goal to have the pressure lower so the car idles easier on huge injectors?
