max pump pressure NB
 

In the process of testing FP static and max fuel pressures. The manual is kind of vague and mitchell ondemand isn't much better.

So...on a '99 what should these readings be? Manual doesn't show static but has 92 psi for max output at pump. Also says above 50psi for residual after 5min. Does this sound about right to you guys, and what psi should I be seeing with the KOEO test?

Here are my numbers from the test.

Checked static psi right at pump (68 psi), max pressure at pump (75psi), static at pulsation damper (60 psi), residual at damper after 5min (55 psi), running @ idle(60 psi) under boost i'm seeing it drop to around 55 psi.

To get it anywhere near 14.7to1 @ idle I have to increase the emb pulse width from 5% to 30% and just to get afrs in the low 14's under boost I have to increase from 40% to 53%.


Are these pressures normal or is my pump dying?
