Christ is this why I am puffing a bit of smoke rolling from a stop? I'm sitting here thinking my rings are toast yet leak down looks pretty solid.

I have another head being built with Supertech not being the wiser to Supertech Springs being potentially flakey and seals being leaky.

Edit: added citation per request to elaborate on post. Also added potentially to curb echo chamber conjecture found all over the forum.

Regarding the silent minority where folks may not be voicing observations because it's against the grain. Maybe we need to probe Leafy for his sources.

Understood. It's a bit hard to deduce when no one challenges certain statements. Much like if no one cites sources (including myself) even if it's accepted as common knowledge. From the outside statements quoted above might be hard to shake the shadow of doubt.

If its a legitimate issue it would be nice to get more data points, kinda like what happened with the supertech valve seal thread. Of course with my name on it, people will probably just think I broke something else and move on to another thread.
