My 94mm pistons( +1.5 mm overbore) do not make any slapping noises. Sometimes a sound comes from the drivers area, but that's more of a fwap-fwap-fwap sound. usually only last a few minutes.

Go read some build threads, spend a few months doing this. You will begin to see a lot of commonalities among the various builds. Read all of the stickies too. Quickly I think you will find a much clearer path than you are currently traveling. If you want a built engine and forced induction, an M45 is just stupid. people put those on bone stock engines. If you really are prepared for the cost of a built engine etc., then build a turbo car.

Its obvious that you are pretty green with engines and forced induction, and jumping head first is a wonderful way to waste a shitload of money. In reality, I think you are a year out (based on current knowledge) of being able to build a successful forced induction miata.. If you are really serious about forced induction, stick around this site.

he's insulting our intelligence by posting some random nonsense and parading it around as "research" when even the most basic of searches would have netted so much info that he's looking for that he'd likely not even have any questions.

E85, timing advance, and meth injection could do it. A rods only build should be enough to do this tho right?

I'd like to see one pushed like that, I bet it's amusing to see the little turd try.
And I would still doubt it would break 200, because no amount of e85 and timing advance would make up for the massive heatsoak and flow choke that will happen.

They are so bad, that they can't keep up with a mediocre flowing BP. just think about that for a sec

Great point vlad. I was curious to see what that response was going to be. My neighbor is a mustang guy and he has a 2010 gt cobra. He is convinced i need to supercharge my car. I explained to him why I wouldn't but no avail. Lol

He suffers from poor comprehension and poor grammar but I think he's talking about Supertech vs. Weisco, low vs. high expansion alloys.
