Na Alternator pulley conversion
I recently updated my crank pulley to a ATI dampener now my stock alternator won’t support the wide belt configuration.
Looking for my best option to adapt: 1) I have a vvt motor with alternator I could install but I understand that the voltage regulation happens on the ECU for that variety 2) modify the crank pulley for the original 1.6 alternator 3) replace the alternator with a 94-97 version Currently running megasquirt pro3 |
Since you have an MS3, you could install the NB alternator, though it would require a wiring modification to connect it. And of course you'd still need the NB style connector, presupposing you don't intend to cut the one off of your VVT engine.

IIRC the 4 rib pulley can be mounted to the early v-belt alternator.

Thanks to all who responded, I was able to source a 95 alternator for some stock calipers I had upgraded All is well:) |
