NA cylinder head advice

Hey

I'm considering replacing the head on my Greddy turbo'ed NA and spotted this for sale over here in the UK. The listing describes the head as follows;

mazda mx5 1.6 mark1
cylinder head ported and gas flowed, lifters and springs all spot on as are the cams.
the valves have been re cut and ground only 600 miles ago as was the cylinder head which was skimmed to lower the compresion ratio by 0.56mm
head perfect for normal induction car not for supercharged car.
slight crack damage to supercharger mounting point (supercharger moved).
but contained to oil gallery top,does not bother the head at all just gave a slight oil leak when fitted.but has been repaired with plastic metal.
a little ott with the metal but i dont like oil leaks.
I then asked some questions of the seller including documentary proof of work done, compression ratio etc. This was the response I got back;

no i have no proof ,
it was done a while ago and i didnt keep receipts but i can always send you some closer shots so you can see the work done.
not sure where you live but you can always come and look at the head at any time,the head was standard when skimmed noy sure what the ratio is without working it out but the head pulled 180 bhp on a dyno in manchester but i tweeked it back a little to make it more driver friendly as it was well peaky,as long as you are not fixing to the head fixing bolts on the side of the head it should run a turbo no probs but that depends what boost you are to run as with all forced induction engines you get a slight preassure bleed down past the rings which preassurises the sump and oil galleys but i dont think this will be a problem. the engine this head is off is featured in the new haynes track day book and has two photos you can not miss them one of the car and one of the motor im the bald guy.

Would this be a good upgrade for my stock head with the webcam 505's and Greddy turbo?

Thanks

:)

I wouldn't buy it. Guy seems like a dumbass in general, not enough pics, it's damaged, missing studs, no proof of porting or pics, etc.

i like the pics he sent of the headword...which aren't pictures of headwork. Don't deal with foreigners, they're pinkos.

Pictures of the headwork - any thoughts?

I would certainly pass this by. Only thing I see done is some port clean up, and maybe a cleaned CC, but even then the valves still have some junk on them.

Is he (the head seller) close enough you can drive over and kick him in the nuts? He doesn't need to be reproducing.
