NB Head on NA Block, in NB car technicalities

Hi all,
in the hopes of not getting bashed, I'll try to explain my situation the best I can.
I have traveled through the great seas of the interwebz, searching for the answers from thee. To no avail.

So, issue is, most of the threads I have read concerning the head swap were done in a latter car ( NB head on na block, in an NA car.)
But my issue is my block is an NA, in an NB car.

Technicalities

I have read of people switching the CAS over from the NA head to the NB head, which I did. But then I came to my sense and realized : if it wasn't there in the first place, why would I need it? Do I need to splice in my harness and install a new connector to host it?

Also there are talks of people switching the fuel rails, injectors and throttle body over from the NA head to the NB part. Is that all that necessary in my situation? Or can I just bolt on the head and be done with it?

Why in the heck would you ever do any of that? Like what made you think you need it?

This is the most straightforward and easy thing to do in the world, and somehow you managed to complicate it.

I am impressed. It takes talent to create problems and confusion from completely nothing.

Install NA block. Re-install NB head and all sensors. Drive car.

it is that simple

thank you ! :)

No problem. The NA block is the only thing you would want on your NB, everything else on your NB is better, so keep it and throw away all the other NA crap

Just make sure it the oil pump has the tapped hole for the NB cam sensor.
