There was actually a LOT of good info in this one. Feel free to get mad and get the **** out, though.

Feel free to make some more hilarious statements about other peoples' cars you've never seen before you go.

Someone is funny... Nice hack *******! All I'm saying is that some people on this site need a lesson in tact. And yes I can read... But it would seem to me that the point of the forum would be ask a question...get an answer. But I guess that would be too easy.

Okay! Luv You! Buh-Bye!

It's too bad you weren't willing to open your eyes and unlearn your bad habits, now you'll have to do this on your own.

You can ask all of the questions you want, but we've already answered them. I even gave you LINKS so you didn't have to SEARCH all by yourself.

This isn't the best forum on the internet because we answer everyone's questions every time...this is the best forum on the internet because we don't. If you want us to treat you as an adult, then you had better earn your keep. You wouldn't walk into a new job as a sales manager and ask the CEO to teach you how money works, would you? That would be pretty ******* stupid, but that's exactly what you're doing here. We've got guides about how money works, all we ask is that you read them before you show up. Did you do the mandatory reading when you signed up for a new account here? We can focus on the details in improving the tech of these cars because we don't focus on individually teaching every swingin' dick that walks in here about the basics. That's a lecture hall class, not a capstone around here. Go read the links I posted in my post above that you somehow felt was worth a -1 props. That's the most informational ******* post that has ever been written specifically for YOU on the subject of Miatas, but you were too ******* stupid to learn the information I laid out in front of you. That's why you're getting harassed like a black man at a KKK meeting.

I have been looking all over this site but cant find anymore info than a maybe on the identification of this turbo. There is no "Id" tag or plate on it. only Garrett A/R 60 M24 1-1on the cold side and 6448 89s MK on the hot side. I was under the impression that it was a FM kit turbo but now Im not sure. Please help.

Possibly an s14 T28 but don't quote me as my used turbo knowledge is pretty poor.. And I'd imagine depending on your boost, it could make enough torque to bend your poor stock rods
Edit: Also looks like the PO knew what they were doing. Looks like you got a pretty good base to go with.

Preheated turbo coolant water is an interesting idea. I don't like that.

So if it is a 2560, from what I can find, it has a max efficient boost level of 14-16 psi. I guess that's right? If the little 1.6L was built up in this car, as the PO said it was, then it could take all of that....right??? If so, how do I turn it up? and do I need to get retuned? If it matters Im at sea level.

That's what i do.

OP, you came back and asked a decent question i guess.
But you're still going downhill.

This information you are looking for is out there!

But i have some ******* questions for you.

You have no idea(as in you've seen it proof) that engine is built right?
You have what, a 5 speed?
14-16psi... Do you have an intercooler that will work with those pressures?
You say it has a PNP ecu, have you figured out what the hell it is?
Maybe connect a laptop to it, and look at it see what your engine is doing?
Do you have a wideband?
Did you google search "how to turn up boost"?

Answer all of these things, and maybe i'll respond to your questions once you have.

it's a t28 of sorts.

it can make enough power to bend rods.

looks like it comes from the front neck, into the turbo and out to the water pump. whats wrong with that?

the coolant is just to prevent coking when the car is turned off.
