It needs to be above what your cranking, when the car fires it jumps up maybe a hundred rpm for a split second on just a single kick, this tell MS that its kicked and starts tapering off the cranking fuel enrichment etc. So it needs to be say, 50 rpm higher than the actual cranking rpm, otherwise it will put in the amount of fuel to run, not start.

Make sure the throttle calibration is not getting you into flood clear mode. in fact, you may want to unplug the tps connector while you figure it out. You may be able to lock the injectors wide open if not hooked up properly.
and stock injectors? what's your req_fuel number?

I really just want to figure out the problem and fix it seeing how the engine hasn't been started. Seeing how the fuel pressure gauge on the fpr is showing 0psi I think after timing that is the most logical place to look. I do appreciate the offering of advice though.

A motor takes 3 things to run, spark, air, and fuel, correct ?
So if he has air, and spark, but he's not sure he's getting fuel then the simplest way to see if fuel is the issue is to add fuel.
If he sprays starter fluid in and it runs then he knows he needs to trouble shoot the fuel system it's much quicker then troubleshooting to find out the fuel system is working right and he has some other issue.

Wait your running a 99 motor and all 99 sensors in a 90-97 chassis ?
The wiring for the 99 sensors is a lot diffrent, I had to re wire for the coolant sensor and ended up just running new wires for the tps.
I'm running a 99 motor in a 94 chassis on ms2 with 94 coils and cas. 99 temp sensor(3 wire vs 94 2 wire) 99 tps, 99 injectors and harness.

Yea yours is 3.5 or 3.6, I would still expect some kind of sputter from it before it completely flooded ?
You stated before that you didn't trust that fuel gauge so I ignored that factor. If you trust it you need to start looking for why and the fuel pump assembly is a good start.
