Hello Miataers,
I recently boosted my car with a modified greddy kit and im still running the bandaid FMU, I will till spring and will be picking up a MS. Anyway to the meat, I ran into a sweet deal on a Devilsown water meth. I am thinking of picking it up at upping my boost. Do you think it possible.

My current turbokit setup
6 degress of timing STATIC (pulled the typical 4 like greddy says)
18K on stock rebuilt 1.6l
Greddy mani and 15g
1.8l injectors
FMU 6.1 ratio
190Lph fuel pump
FMIC 3x18x28
Hks SSQV V1
Tony Turbo down pipe
3" dp back straight pipe

Yes it possible.

No you should not. Without proper engine managment your still goin to hit det with more boost. You need to be able to tune for the extra fuel/water/meth.

If you put a bandaid on top of a bandaid it won't help the bleeding. If it really is a good deal, buy it and install with the MS in the spring.

Ok, So what would say to doing about 10lbs leaving my static timing at 6 degrees, my bottom end is slow but not unreasonable now. Then running the WaterMeth. Also have a wideband and Boost gauge to help keep an eye on the function.

I have seen a few people people making some pretty decent number on bandaids, not saying it is a great idea, or very reliable when ATTEMPTING to making any kind of power.
I totally understand what i am doing but new to water meth and its actually gains and if i can jump up two lbs on boost and rock it out, guess i can just go for it and listen for the knock.
