i have a very similar noise. I have decided that it is a bunch of hvac stuff under the dash. it began when i removed a few parts from under the hood. just live with it. i do hate it though, just not enough to remove the dash yet.

 

I know this is an old thread but I'm having the same issue. Has anyone found what causes this?
