oil cooler drainback concern?

I bought My 90 1.8vvt car turn key. Previous owner did a nice job but one concern I had is with the oil cooler installation. It's installed Behind the radiator in place of the Ac fan. It's a nice Setrab unit , my concern is the way it's oriented with the outlets one up high near the top of the radiator and the other down low near the bottom of the rad. It's installed with a sandwich plate between the oil filter. Do I need to worry about drain back to the pan when sitting? Should I look at another cooler that has the inlet and outlet both up top to avoid this? Thanks in advance

How many quarts does the cooler contain, 0.2?

Don't worry about it. A 3 quart Accusump with no valve is a different matter.

It won't hold more volume than a newly installed oil filter and should take quite a while to drain if it does. It would need to have air replace the oil as it drains and the anti-drain valve on the filter should help prevent that from occurring much.

As long as it was plumbed with the inlet is at the bottom and the outlet is at the top it should be fine.
