It looks like a pretty decent little unit and not very different from the Hayden unit.

Their logo is spectacularly awesome.

The only thing I'd be concerned about is the inlet/outlet fittings but for 40 bucks ... fuck it.

I have that but with a front mount oil cooler attached turned out awesome and works amazing.

You'll engine will thank you later. Just let your car come up to temperature because it doesnt have a thermastat on there so it starts cooling as soon as you drive.

My experience with ebay -AN fittings has been 100% failure.

Not everyone has the budget of you guys supposidly and there are countless miata's on here with Chinachargers that have more than suprised me. If dude wants to run a part let him.

1. There is nothing wrong with the stock location.

2. Using Ebay oil line parts on a dedicated track car is just retarded.

3. Introducing more failure points on a track car is just retarded.

That kit probably isn't any worse than one of the cheap summit/jegs 'universal' kits, about the same price though...

If you're gonna get that, might as well just get this kit eh? Whats the issue with ebay -AN fittings? I haven't read.

Crimp connectors leak more than my diy screw on fittings, and normal torque on the fittings crush the flare. At that point it might be leak free, but you most likely can't remove and replace it, as it'll leak if it's in a new position. Also theyre not the same angle, so if it fails, you can't mix and match pieces.

1: No thermostat. (Not a big deal- just add one.)

2: Those 90° AN fittings are terrible from a flow standpoint. You want the ones with a swept aluminum tube, not a drilled-out aluminum block.

dont buy china ebay parts, they fail. non of my many experience has worked for me.

Why don't you just buy it then replace the fittings with real stuff from summit or somewhere?

Like I said, they're usually not -AN fittings. Only way to replace them is to use more -AN fittings, or buy real -AN fittings along with new hoses. The only part I'm using from my $160 ebay oil cooler kit is the sandwich plate, which luckily had real NPT threads to put some NPT-AN adapters in.

Do the cheap kits from Summit come with actual quality parts?
