Default oil pan gasket

Autozone online showed felpro oil pan gasket kit but I went to the store and they gave me a rol gasket kit. Just looking for some feedback on the brands. Anyone have experience with them or a preference? Finally tackling a leak I've had for months. I already have a big tube of rtv black and the kit came with some no name "rubber sealant"that I won't be using.

I've never had OEM oil pan seals leak. I combine them with Permatex Black RTV. They aren't expensive.

I plan on using a OEM one on mine...pulling the motor in a month or so. I wouldent go cheap on something you have to pull the motor to replace.

when it comes to RTV you should be using permatex "The right stuff" . I usually use only that and NO gasket for most surfaces. End of discussion

Shoot me a pm. If you have a 1.8 I have a spare set of the front and rear half moon gaskets and will let them go cheap. They are Felpro.
