Oil pump Screws

So,

I got around to starting my build last week and ran into the issue of a stuck screw in the oil pump when trying to swap in the BE billet gears. I was able to finally remove the screw with an impact screwdriver (thanks Travis) but not without chewing up that screw in the process.

Anyone know the part number to that screw? Or at least what material it is made out of and what the head angle is on the screw? I can find the rest.

Or at the very least, where can I find the information?

Thanks for any help

i was able to get a complete set from my local dealer for about $1 each, they had them the day after i ordered them. i dont have the part number handy but anyone with the EPC can get it. i had the EPC installed but then my computer died...

now that i think of it, i probably still have the original screws kicking around. only a couple were stripped but i replaced them all for good measure. pay shipping and i'll send you all the good ones i have... i'll look for them tonight.

I have a bunch laying around too, pay shipping and they're yours. I've always used my impact gun to remove them, never stripped one, but I do have a spare pump with a seized up relief valve from when my motor popped last year.

Thanks Sav and Riel,

I think I am going to head to the dealer, I have a few other odd parts that I need. The reliff valve seems a little worn so I'm going to replace that, and a few inserts between the block and the trans. need to be replaced as they were chewed up a bit when removed.

For future use the part number on the screws is FE1H-14-124 according to the 96 service manual.

Thanks guys,

Smythe
