Oil squirter differences
 

I heard that in 99, the oil squirter volume was reduced from previous years. Does anyone know if this is the case, and if there are other squirter design changes.

I have a 99 block, and am thinking of robbing the squirters, but if there is a better one out there, I would rather not go through the hassle. I want the least volume, but I do not want to eliminate them.

I can confirm that the squirters are different between the 1.6 and the 99/00 blocks. Outside of that, I haven't compared any others.

94 oil squirters come with copper washers to seal them to the block, 99 squirters do not. I'm not sure what year it changed, somewhere in that range.

94 and 99 are visually identical.
