Picture Needed - Interior of TPS

Greetings.

Would anyone have a close-up picture of a 90-93 stock TPS with the prongs set in the throttle closed position? (car off).

I popped off the cap accidentally and the interior slid out of the holder.

Thank You!

hmmmm having a bit of trouble bringing the idle down. It starts and stays after warm-up at 1500+. No codes. tried ten/gnd to adjust idle at the manifold and had to go to clockwise to the end to bring it down to 950. I put it back to 1500 so "all was the same as when the procedure started". Tried adjusting the CAS position toward 12o'clock and although it helped, it was still at 100rpm when fully up the slider.

Also, when the pedal was depressed the car gagged and would barely go over 2500rpm's. (this is normally a very well running 93').

As you can see from my pic in post 3, the plastic bits resembled pic 1 in Ryan's Post #5 so I set mine "1 high, 2 low" as well.

checked hoses, all well.

Ideas?

Have you checked timing with a timing light?

Sorry for the delay in updating.

I was able to obtain a light from a "friend of a friend". As you can see from the pics below When the t-belt was put on and all marks at top, middle and 1/2 moon were positioned correctly the timing mark should have been at TDC. It wasn't. It was approx 4-6degrees to the right.

The pics below indicate positions when light applied

I debated about compensating for the 4-6 degrees being off at the start but for now I'm leaving it. "Alfred" is running well :)

Sorry to drag up this old thread, but another reason the timing marks may be off is the pulley could have slipped. It is a two piece pulley after all. Mine did the same thing, except when my #1 was at TDC the timing mark was at about an 11 o'clock position if looking straight at the engine.

Since I am cheap at times I just put the engine to TDC and filed in a new mark, dabbed some paint on it for the timing light to pick up easier.
