piston coatings
 

I just bought a set of Je pistons for my 1.8 build, there is no coatings at all on these pistons.I had Wiesco's and they had at-least the side skirts coated. Im starting to wonder is i sould have keept my Wiesco's! I was concerned with valve clearance when using a over sized valve. Does anyone have any good recommendations on coatings? what type? what company? how much should i look to pay? anything else i should have coated while my motor is apart?

As for valve clearance, what head are you using?
