At which point, the original option becomes an alternative option to itself.

You don't need to understand that.

18psi Apr 27, 2015 05:01 PM

just shorten the pulsewidths after peak torque

Sheesh. You aren't supposed to actually help him. Just make fun of him instead.

I should have asked if I was going to be more truble than its worth trying to get a good idle with that big of injectors. So you think I can back off enough to get a descent idle?

concealer404 Apr 27, 2015 05:37 PM

I'm actually not sure if they're big enough.

turbofan Apr 27, 2015 05:49 PM

You guys are brutal.

I'll help a little, maybe, but I'm an idiot really.

I don't know if Subaru injectors are the same as Miata injectors. But the size wouldn't be an issue if you're running a proper EMS like megasquirt or Hydra.

They're beating on you with perfectly good reason -- you're asking a question whose answer is painfully obvious. A hint: I'm running 1000cc injectors, as are several others, and some are running larger.

They're not. Will require spacers as far as i know. JMuse is using these very injectors i do believe.

I'm an auto Tec, I've never tuned before. So I've been reading to fill in the blanks I don't completely understand and I must have misunderstood what I was reading I thought it said that you could go to big with the injector size. Guess not. thanks for the help . I hope my next question is a little less embarrassing.

turbofan Apr 27, 2015 06:32 PM

You CAN go to big depending on the type of injector. Buy a high quality EV14-style injector though and it really doesn't matter.
