Proper Flywheel for NB 1.8

3 Attachment(s)
So, I emptied my garage of its clutches. I have NO idea what cars they have come from over the years though. Can anyone give me some insight into what is 1.6, what is 1.8, that didn't come from a miata. etc. Or just some guidelines to determine how to find a 1.8 NB flywheel out of the mess..

All I've been told about the four, is that it was resurfaced for a 1.6, and didn't fit.

Both in pic 2 and right on pic 3 look like my 1.8.

1.6L vs 1.8L flywheel

You could measure the OD of them.

1.6L should be 200mm
1.8L should be 226mm

(if I recall)

#3 doesn't look like anything I've ever seen on a Miata.

The step height should be 19.86 +/-0.05mm if I recall.

Thought 1.8l flywheels were 226mm diameter and have PP standoffs, 1.6l was 200mm with no PP standoffs.

Not 100% sure. Close to 95% sure.

Welllllll I dropped one off at the machine shop. So, fingers crossed? lol

1.6 has no standoffs, 1.8 does. I don't know if there is a difference between NA/NB flywheels, but I strongly suspect there is not (if there is, they are interchangeable WRT pressure plates and clutch discs).
