Default 1.8 stock piston pictures?

Does anyone have any pictures of stock 1.8 pistons? I'm looking for a head-on shot that shows the valve relief cuts.

I've searched all over the interweb and I can't find any pics. Plenty of wisecos/supertechs in this forum but again, I couldn't find stock pics.

Thanks much..

I'm looking for pics because I'm wondering if the stock pistons have the same little dimple that the supertechs do..

The chip missing from the top-right corner is not OEM.

Surely the engines are non interference because of the relief cuts in the pistons?

OK so I can't tell. Are these stock pistons or supertech pistons?

Super similar, but there's that little dot on the squish area that the Supertechs don't have.

So, the pistons I posted are indeed supertech not stockers?

Here's a picture of a new 01 piston. It has three height levels on the face total. The valve reliefs are larger for the intake side of the piston.

The piston next to it is supertech's try at a 84mm factory compression piston. Note the dot on the top surface towards the right.

Your 03 piston should look like the 01 posted if it is factory. - which is doesn't.

Yours could be lower compression supertechs.

Most of the factory pistons have a small cresent shape cut out of them between the intake valve reliefs and the perimeter of the piston.

Thanks John, the 3 height levels looks like the easiest way to tell. I guess this motor does indeed have the supertechs.

Thanks also to everyone else that posted pics!
