Default Questioning my injector choice...

Hey all, I recently picked up a secondhand, never installed MK Turbo DIY kit, with a FAB9(?) intercooler and piping, GFB BOV, some other stuff, etc. Included was a brand new, never opened set of ID1000 injectors. My goal is 250-275whp on my stock BP05 on a stock fuel pump, but I’m worried these injectors will be too much for what I’m trying to achieve. I did understand that these injectors were known for being relatively good at idle because of the pulse width. I’m just thinking that they’re too much injector for my setup, but I’ve already got them... so...

They'll be fine.

Great. I talked with Jeff Linfert and he said the same thing, rich at idle, but they’ll be good. Thanks!

There shouldn't be any issue tuning idle. The days of struggling to idle on large injectors are long gone. If your tuner claims you have to live with a rich idle then you should find a new tuner.

These will idle smoother than your stock injectors. There isn't much reason not to just go for ID1000's, since they are so good at low pulsewidths. You made the right choice.
