Rad fans, 1.5 is better than 1?

First off I wanna say i'm an electrical noob, but i'm learning!
So at first I was planning on just running one stock rad fan after putting in my upgraded rad. But now I decided to mount my oil cooler behind the rad where the a/c fan usually would sit. But now with my FMIC, rad, and oil cooler located closely together, i'm very tempted to wire in a universal fan infront of my radiator on the passenger side to help with air flow (I also have a vented hood, vented just after the rad). Anyone have any thoughts on this? I was thinking about splicing the universal fan into the oem fan circuit and running it parallel with the oem fan. Also I took out my a/c but still have the a/c switch. If I splice the universal fan into the a/c fan plug, would the a/c switch turn on the universal fan? There's around half an inch or three quarter clearance from the cooler to the FSB.
